Accounts<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Nicole presented the financial accounts to Feb 2011 balance $976.05 but it was unclear what the Financial Year is for BAMBA.\u00c2\u00a0Marco has since checked the rules of BAMBA\u00c2\u00a0and they say the AGM should be held in Sep so the Financial Year end should be 31st<\/sup> August.\u00c2\u00a0 Nicole will please change the Financial Statements to please read ending 31st<\/sup>\u00c2\u00a0Aug 2010 and send to Matt Clarke with receipts and he will ask Tony Gambitsis to audit them.<\/p>\n Memorandum of Understanding between BAMBA\u00c2\u00a0and GWRC<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Jeremy has started preparing the draft and will send to Marco when done.\u00c2\u00a0 He wants a 5year\u00c2\u00a0plan to be formulated so that he can input into the 3 year LTCCP\u00c2\u00a0plans on our behalf.\u00c2\u00a0 BAMBA\u00c2\u00a0will provide their input to the MOU including track signage with BAMBA\u00c2\u00a0logo, track maintenance, new tracks incorporating Otonga, rebuild of top of Big Weta\u00c2\u00a0and bottom of Bob\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s track, Big Weta exit and top of Last Sun.<\/p>\n Steve produced a letter from Erik to himself and Marco requesting all trail work in Otonga to cease.\u00c2\u00a0 Marco said we will add this area to the MOU and try to incorporate it into the MTB trail network.\u00c2\u00a0 Erik said it may not be designated as a ride-able area but will be investigated.<\/p>\n Jeremy wanted to ensure we are looking after existing tracks before we consider new tracks.\u00c2\u00a0 Tyrone said he often prunes Danzig and our trails in the forest are in good order and we are in a position Erik said the Belmont Recreation Reserve has a Park Management Plan that we must adhere to as well as the Owner Occupiers Act with roles and responsibilities and H&S and environmental impacts all to consider.<\/p>\n Tyrone said is there any GWRC budget for new trails such as a Family friendly loop.\u00c2\u00a0 Jeremy said no, but there is a budget to look after existing trails.<\/p>\n On Sunday 20th<\/sup>\u00c2\u00a0March at 9am Jeremy, Tyrone, Craig, Matt, Ian, (Marco will be at ScreamingO) etc will meet at the put into the MOU.\u00c2\u00a0Ian said it was our contract with GWRC.\u00c2\u00a0 We have to formulate a 5year plan.\u00c2\u00a0 Nicole to design track signs that show grading.\u00c2\u00a0 We need large maps at entrances.\u00c2\u00a0 We should have a track maintenance day twice per day.<\/p>\n Matt A said Danzig should be modified to make it more sustainable and BAMBA\u00c2\u00a0should try and\u00c2\u00a0offload the work to HVMTB Club.<\/p>\n Craig wants to build a Pump Track at the bottom of Middle Ridge.<\/p>\n Ian will print A3 maps and get to us for Mar 20th<\/sup> walk.<\/p>\n After the walk we will call a meeting if required to prepare the MOU.<\/p>\n Steve said we are going to be charged $60 per month for our domain name www.bamba.org.nz<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0unless we can sell to 8 businesses at $200 pa each advertising space.\u00c2\u00a0BAMBA would get half this income and the domain provider would get the other half.\u00c2\u00a0 We will not be able to do this and may need
