Financial reports (Audit) \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Completed 3rd October.<\/p>\n \u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>General Business<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n MTBNZ Affiliation<\/span><\/p>\n We are now affiliated but have not received any official word as such or invoice, we are just receiving regular emails from them now.<\/p>\n It was noted that the payment made only covers BAMBA\u00c2\u00a0till the end of this year 2012. It was agreed therefore that BAMBA will put in a further application again next year to cover the 2013 year and as a Tier 2 (Cost around $200).<\/p>\n Paul is to chase up a copy of the invoice for this year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s payment and also obtain another application form to complete for 2013.<\/p>\n Charitable Registration<\/span><\/p>\n Paul confirmed that BAMBA is now registered with the Charities Commission as a Charitable Society.<\/p>\n Tracks \/ Trails<\/span><\/p>\n Bull Run:\u00c2\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n Wayne Boness\u00c2\u00a0stated that he has been busy chasing up DOC\u00c2\u00a0 re letter of approval for the Bull Run etc. Wayne and Members of BAMBA felt it was unacceptable that DOC had done nothing since the meeting held on 11 Sept and that no correspondence what so ever had been received.<\/p>\n Wayne and Tyrone\u00c2\u00a0 agreed\u00c2\u00a0 that BAMBA\u00c2\u00a0should make a start on the GW land that is at the end of Bull Run (Hill Road).\u00c2\u00a0 Wayne will approach Amanda etc. and will advise BAMBA\u00c2\u00a0via a letter ASAP if all is a go!\u00c2\u00a0 Then Tyrone, Wayne and Jeremy will have to scope out the proposed section of track and mark it. Once this is done BAMBA\u00c2\u00a0will need to submit the Project Scope & Assessment of Effects (AEE) to Jeremy \/ GW as soon as possible so once approved BAMBA can make a start on this area.<\/p>\n (Note: at the time of writing\u00c2\u00a0 Wayne had verbally informed Tyrone that GW is happy for BAMBA\u00c2\u00a0to start work on the above mentioned area and he will send a letter to BAMBA\u00c2\u00a0 advising of this. Jeremy had also sent an updated AEE form through to Paul) <\/em><\/p>\n Tyrone pointed out that since the logging operation had now started there were now no tracks that could be ridden in the park and the sooner we could get the Bull Run issues sorted and open to park users the better. Wayne made mention that some trails in the Danzig forest block may be able to be opened during the Xmas break and he or Jeremy would advise us of these closer to the time.<\/p>\n Hill Road Picnic Site (Bull Run) – Friends of Belmont project: <\/em><\/p>\n BAMBA\u00c2\u00a0is not in a position to put money into this project, however Tyrone has offered his services (labour) to assist with this on Behalf of BAMBA\u00c2\u00a0and he asked that it would be appreciated if others could also assist! Wayne Boness confirmed that Friends of Belmont have secured assistance \/ funding for this project from both GW and Hutt City Council, However our assistance would be beneficial to all.<\/p>\n PNP \/ Danzig – Belmont Round 2012 & 2013: <\/em><\/p>\n Marco mentioned that the PNP committee were to discuss next year the possible axing of some rounds in 2013 and that many had voiced the Belmont round should be axed.<\/p>\n (Possibly also the Mount Vic round)<\/p>\n Marco noted that BAMBA had done nothing at this year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s event to help support PNP \u00e2\u20ac\u201c i.e., no assistance with trails, support or even taking part in the race.<\/p>\n Tyrone pointed out that due to the Bull Run issues and logging it was hard for BAMBA members to help this time round! Craig had also attended the Super D event (Which he won – again).<\/p>\n Paul did offer Marco assistance but work commitments stopped him from helping Marco. BAMBA members did apologize for the fact that they had not been able to assist PNP well this year.<\/p>\n BAMBA suggested that PNP should alternate between Belmont and Mount Vic every year.<\/p>\n It was agreed that in April 2013, BAMBA\u00c2\u00a0would check on the current status of the trails due to the logging operation. If the trails are not up to standard then BAMB will write to PNP and request that this area be excused from the 2013 round.
