In the spirit of raging Lamborghini’s and Spanish Bovine Festivals, our very own Bull Run is just about complete. There has been some great work put in by some great people over the past month to see the new “Traverse” track between Old Coach Road and Sweetacres created, with only a small section of track to finish off plus some remedial work here and there, voilà , The Bull Run will be open to other riders and possibly be part of the PNP Belmont round if Marco thinks that would be a good idea.  It has been awesome to see the track completed so quickly and although some sections required some rock bashing (felt like we were in Makara) we seemed to get through it more quickly than some would have thought. Special mention and thanks to Jeremy, the GWRC Park Ranger, to the BNZ group who got so much done in such a short time and of course the whole BAMBA community – WOW!

The Bull Run got a name change at the AGM. It is now called “Bull-a-varde” and the new downhill track branching off will be named The Bull Run.
